📢 Key Discussions & Updates

The STEM for Inclusive Schools (STEMinSCH) team held another successful online meeting on February 5, 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to advance STEM education across Europe. Led by Prof. Dr. Marc Beutner from the University of Paderborn, the meeting focused on status updates, next steps, and key deliverables for the project.

This session brought together all project partners to discuss the current progress of STEM activities, digital tools, and upcoming Multiplier Events.


🔎 Highlights of the Meeting

✔ 🎤 Multiplier Events Reminder – Each partner is expected to organize an event targeting teachers, future educators, and students, aiming for at least 15 participants per partner (90 in total). Partners were reminded to document participation with photos.

✔ 📋 Workplan Review – A quick status check on ongoing tasks, ensuring that all work packages (WPs) are progressing on schedule.

✔ 🔬 WP2 – Testing STEM Activities – The 25 STEM activities developed as part of WP2 will soon enter the testing and piloting phase, with partners reporting back on implementation.

✔ 🛠 WP3 – Toolkit Evaluation – The STEM measurement and evaluation toolkit will also be tested and reviewed in classrooms before being finalized.

✔ 📖 WP4 – Guidebook Development – Partners discussed outlining and dividing content for the STEM Inclusion Guidebook, ensuring each organization contributes effectively to its development.


🚀 What’s Next?

📌 Testing & Reporting – Partners will begin testing STEM activities and the toolkit in schools, gathering feedback for final improvements.
📌 Guidebook Drafting – Sections will be allocated among partners for content creation.
📌 Upcoming Multiplier Events – Planning continues for local events to promote project outcomes.

With each step, STEMinSCH moves closer to delivering impactful, inclusive STEM education across Europe.
